Forces of Hell PMQ’s live in a few minutes.

According to Dizzy the Tories have ust put a press release out that contains the following quote from Liam Fox
“At Prime Minister’s Questions today Gordon Brown repeatedly made the allegation that the Conservatives pledged to cut defence spending at the 2005 election, when our manifesto was committed to a £2.7bn increase in frontline spending. Gordon Brown must apologise for misleading the House. Another day, another figure, same wrong Gordon Brown.”
According to Dizzy
Just did a quick Google search to check and page 25 of the Tory 2005 manifesto seems clear as it says,
A Conservative Government will strengthen our Armed Forces within NATO by spending £2.7 billion more than Labour on the front line by 2007-08.

Replying to Brown’s delusion on Class Warfare, Cameron had this to say
The PM talks about hereditary principle. There is only one leader in this House who inherited his title

Macavity hides away
It’s not the fact that Gordon will miss PMQ’s but the fact that he is too “busy” to explain how his actions have destroyed the UK economy for many years to come. After having presided over the Exchequer and set in place the roots of why we were the last G20 country to come out of recession, and maybe the first to go back into recession, and been the “Saviour of the World” during his premiership, you would expect him to have to face the music.
Instead our esteemed Prime Minister is bunkered away in the NI talks. Whilst I appreciate that NI is important, I’m sorry but the economy of the UK is much more important and that’s what he should be concentrating on. He has Shaun Woodward and all his staff to deal with this, but that’s not how Gordon works he has to hold the reins and be seen to be in charge.
I hope that Cameron and Clegg are both at PMQ’s to highlight this fact and expose this miserable coward.

The Press and Journal reports that the White House last night dismissed suggestions by Gordon Brown that President Barack Obama was close to announcing a decision on the deployment of more troops to Afghanistan.
In the Commons, Mr Brown told MPs that he had spoken to Mr Obama and expected him “to announce in a few days what his numbers for Afghanistan will be”.
However, a White House spokesman insisted that the decision on the plan drawn up by General Stanley McChrystal, the commander of international forces in Afghanistan, was still “weeks and not days” away.
So why should we believe anything this man tells us. Why should we be fobbed off with this sort of lie, is it because Gordon doesn’t want to admit he is not the all-powerful leader that he wants us to believe.
The White House has repeatedly batted away reports that the president has already made up his mind. Press secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters on Tuesday that anyone who suggests otherwise has not got
“the slightest idea what they are talking about”.
Looks like this must apply to Gordon Brown.
