The Jonah Jinx of Gordon Brown has hit the North East.
The BBC reports that a fire had to be tackled at the St Fergus Gas terminal:
A fire has been tackled at the St Fergus gas terminal in Aberdeenshire.
Six Grampian Fire and Rescue Service units were called to the Mobil North Sea site, near Peterhead, but were not needed and it was dealt with on site.
The alarm had been raised at about 1340 GMT. No-one was hurt during the incident.
A Mobil North Sea spokesman confirmed: “Personnel on the site were called to muster and were all accounted for with no injuries.”
The spokesman said: “At the time of the incident 103 personnel were on site. The site alarm was sounded and the neighbouring plants informed of the incident.
Gordon was of course telling us on Saturday, that he would blow hot air and get rid of the cold weather affecting the UK. Looks like all he has done is jinx it. My prediction on Saturday has proved doubly true. I said:

This fire alert follows on to the 4th Gas Balancing Alert issued earlier today after bad weather affected supplies from Norway.
Of course our Jonah was just saying over the weekend that he would sort this all out. He only has to interfere to cause problems!. My prediction at the time was :

In this case it seems to be all down to cold/bad weather in Norway affecting supplies.
P.S. If you want to order domestic oil supplies be warned that there is as 2-3 week backlog already in Rural Aberdeenshire.
Supply for gas in the UK has reached record levels over the last week
Yet another gas Balancing alert issued today. The third of the week.
In the meantime “Jonah” Brown has said he is personally ensuring enough gas is being produced by the UK despite all his tax disincentives to firms working in the UK sector. My prediction, watch as the interconnector and terminals hit problems.
As I reported back on Thursday, The curse of Gordon Brown has struck Andy Murray at Wimbledon. After receiving praise from Jonah Brown, Andy Murray promptly went and lost in the semi-finals of Wimbledon. Whilst this was still a great achievement by Andy you just wander might have been if Jonah hadn’t been involved.
The curse of Jonah Brown is still of course affecting this whole country, there is only one thing we need and that is for Gordon to go.
Gordon Brown has effectively killed off any hope of Andy Murray winning Wimbledon by wishing him all the best and saying he is “awesomely skilful”. Watch as Murray is doomed not to win Wimbledon
