According to Sir David Omand, Tony Blair’s former Security Coordinator, some intelligence figures were “queasy” about publishing intelligence details.
The 45-minute claim was put in late and
“at least that was something the secret service would allow to be used”.
“With hindsight one can see that adding a bit of local colour like that is asking for trouble,”
So we went to war on the basis of “A bit of local Colour”
Kind of describes this whole Labour Government and the lies it is based upon.
