With Brown and Blair playing for Scotland, I should have known we were jinxed. With 70 minutes to go, a great performance from Scotland meant they were leading by ten and seemed to have the game sealed.
Sadly it was not to be and Wales scored the final try with Scotland down to 13 men.
A great game and we should congratulate the Welsh on keeping it going until the final whistle, but nothing short of heart-breaking for Scotland.
Never mind there is, as always, next year!

Andy Murray - Scottish or British
Vote here to say if Andy Murray is British or Scottish as he goes into the Australian Final. I suspect after losing to Federer early on Sunday he will be back to being Scottish, but there is still hope.
And please Gordon don’t wish him well or he will be “Jonahed”.

The Jonah Jinx of Gordon Brown has hit the North East.
The BBC reports that a fire had to be tackled at the St Fergus Gas terminal:
A fire has been tackled at the St Fergus gas terminal in Aberdeenshire.
Six Grampian Fire and Rescue Service units were called to the Mobil North Sea site, near Peterhead, but were not needed and it was dealt with on site.
The alarm had been raised at about 1340 GMT. No-one was hurt during the incident.
A Mobil North Sea spokesman confirmed: “Personnel on the site were called to muster and were all accounted for with no injuries.”
The spokesman said: “At the time of the incident 103 personnel were on site. The site alarm was sounded and the neighbouring plants informed of the incident.
Gordon was of course telling us on Saturday, that he would blow hot air and get rid of the cold weather affecting the UK. Looks like all he has done is jinx it. My prediction on Saturday has proved doubly true. I said:

This fire alert follows on to the 4th Gas Balancing Alert issued earlier today after bad weather affected supplies from Norway.

Roddick prays thanks to the curse of Jonah Brown
As I reported back on Thursday, The curse of Gordon Brown has struck Andy Murray at Wimbledon. After receiving praise from Jonah Brown, Andy Murray promptly went and lost in the semi-finals of Wimbledon. Whilst this was still a great achievement by Andy you just wander might have been if Jonah hadn’t been involved.
The curse of Jonah Brown is still of course affecting this whole country, there is only one thing we need and that is for Gordon to go.
