The election is the X-Factor, and it’s the early weeks: the audience is ignoring the judges by backing the underdog. When decision time gets closer, the audience will dump it’s pet and go for the talent. So on that measure Nick Clegg is this election’s Jedward: briefly, inexplicably, unjustifiably popular, but doomed to be discarded.
Time for some reality I think. Time for Change.
