Shock news from Parliament – the Commons has run out of loo paper.
I’m not making this up. We’ve been told by officials that the whole House is down to “its last two rolls” and no more supplies have arrived.
When asked why there couldn’t be an emergency shopping trip to Tesco Metro over the road, officials said that the store wouldn’t be able to provide the huge quantity of loo roll required in the Palace of Westminater.
I suspect some admin person will be given the bum’s rush over the failure to plan the logistics.

Well… when you think of all the shite that comes out of there, you have got to admit that sending a poor wee laddy over to carry the stuff back from Tesco would break all manner of H&S rules.
